Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Management Trainee for our Barista role. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in both customer service and café management. As a Management Trainee, you will receive hands‑on experience in day-to-day operations, customer interactions, and leadership duties within our café.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences.
  • Assist customers with their orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns with tact and professionalism.
Operational Duties:
  • Learn and perform all barista duties, including operating coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including the seating area, counter, and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and conducting inventory checks.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
Management Training:
  • Assist the Operation Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Participate in staff training sessions to understand company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Gain experience in scheduling, payroll, and other administrative tasks.
  • Support the Operation Manager in planning and executing promotional activities and events.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a café or customer service environment is preferred.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Leadership potential with a desire to grow into a management role.
