Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Malay Preschool Educator in Singapore to inspire curiosity and support early learning. You will create a positive, stimulating classroom environment and deliver age-appropriate lessons in Malay, while collaborating with fellow educators to ensure each child’s development.

The role requires a DECCE-T or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a caring, team‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or equivalent.
• Able to conduct preschool lessons and communicate confidently in Malay.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion and interest in early childhood education.
• Caring, positive, proactive, and team‑oriented attitude.
• Diploma in any discipline may also be considered for an Assistant Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the preschool curriculum.
• Plan and prepare creative teaching resources, learning materials, and hands‑on activities.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom where children feel comfortable exploring and learning.
• Support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through meaningful daily interactions.
• Observe, document, and monitor children’s developmental progress.
• Create and maintain attractive learning corners and relevant classroom resources.
• Manage daily classroom routines while ensuring the safety and well‑being of all children.
• Take part in centre activities, enrichment programmes, events, and classroom administration.
• Build positive partnerships with parents and contribute to each child’s overall development.
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators to create a supportive and enriching preschool experience.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Able to conduct preschool lessons and communicate confidently in Malay, as the role involves teaching Malay to preschool children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion and interest in early childhood education.
• Caring, positive, proactive, and team‑oriented attitude.
• Candidates with a Diploma in any discipline but without a relevant Early Childhood qualification may also be considered for an Assistant Teacher position, subject to suitability.
