Maintenance Technician (PLC/equipment maintenance)

Our client is a manufacturer of specialised resin-based materials for the semiconductor industry and high-performance plastics. Their products include epoxy moulding compounds used for semiconductor packaging (to encapsulate semiconductor devices), as well as die-attach pastes and liquid epoxy resins for semiconductor applications. Currently, they are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Basic Salary: $2000-$2800 (depends on experience)

Working Hour: Monday to Friday (8am-5.30pm)

Working Location: Senoko (Near to Sembawang)

Transport provided from Jurong and Tampines area

Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager in the Engineering Department, the selected incumbent shall assist the Engineering team in the following tasks:

• Assist in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment within the compound.
• Provide engineering support to the Production department.
• Diagnose and repair faulty equipment, perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdown.
• Carry out instrumentation calibration activities.
• In charge of maintenance and troubleshooting of entire facility duties.
• Involve in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.

Requirements

• Candidate with experience in electrical installation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and electrical maintenance preferred.
• Willing to support shift work.
• Willing to wear jumpsuit and mask as Personal Protective Equipment while working in the production area.
