Job summary

A community care organization in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on mobility equipment and building facilities. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience in M&E maintenance, is hands-on, and has a pleasant working attitude. On-the-job training will be provided, and candidates without experience are also welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in M&E building facilities maintenance.
  • Experience in mobile medical equipment maintenance is an added advantage.
  • Pleasant personality and team spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and repair of mobility equipment.
  • Maintain repair logs and other relevant documentation.
  • Handle and manage technical issues and troubleshoot problems on site.

Maintenance Technician (Mobile Equipment and Facilities Management)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Routine preventive maintenance and repair of mobility equipment
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment meets required standards
  • Keep track of equipment, parts, and supplies
  • Maintain repair logs and other relevant documentation
  • Maintenance of building facilities
  • Maintenance of systems – mechanical, electrical, sanitary, plumbing, air-con, audio visual
  • Maintenance of furniture & equipment
  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
  • Handle and manage technical issues and troubleshoot/rectify problems on site
  • Responsible for all technical/operational issues raised by internal/external customers and liaise with them to ensure complaints are resolved
  • Coordinate work with contractors and ensure they deliver their services
  • Maintain and update maintenance records and documentation including data entry
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Reporting Supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • ITE in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Building Services/ Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in M&E building facilities maintenance
  • Experience in mobile medical equipment (wheelchair, shower trolley & hospital bed etc) maintenance is an added advantage
  • Pleasant personality, good working attitude and team-spirit, very hands‑on
  • On the job training will be provided
