Job summary

A local healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs of mobility equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in building facilities maintenance, with knowledge in mobile medical equipment being a plus. A hands-on approach and good team spirit are essential. On-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E building facilities maintenance.
• Experience in mobile medical equipment maintenance is advantageous.
• Pleasant personality and hands-on attitude required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Routine preventive maintenance and repair of mobility equipment.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment meets required standards.
• Keep track of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain repair logs and other relevant documentation.
• Maintenance of building facilities and systems – mechanical, electrical, sanitary, plumbing, air-con, audio visual.
• Maintenance of furniture and equipment.
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
• Handle and manage technical issues and troubleshoot/rectify the problem on site.
• Respond to and liaise with internal/external customers to resolve technical/operational issues.
• Coordinate work with contractors and ensure they deliver their services.
• Maintain and update maintenance records and documentation, including data entry.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Reporting Supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• ITE in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Building Services/ Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in M&E building facilities maintenance
• Experience in mobile medical equipment maintenance (e.g., wheelchair, shower trolley, hospital bed) is an added advantage
• Pleasant personality, good working attitude and team-spirit, very hands-on
• On the job training will be provided
