About the Role

Our client, a leading semiconductor manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. This position plays a key role in ensuring production equipment runs efficiently and reliably within a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and equipment servicing according to standard protocols.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incidents.

  • Follow safety and chemical handling procedures to uphold a safe and compliant workplace.

Requirements
  • Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Precision Engineering.

  • 2– 3 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.

  • Background in semiconductor, electronics, or high-precision manufacturing preferred.

  • Familiar with preventive maintenance routines and cleanroom operations (PPE required).

  • Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and support overtime when needed.
