Job summary

A metal components manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for repairing, adjusting, and maintaining machinery to ensure optimal performance. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in machinery maintenance and a good track record in a manufacturing environment. This permanent position offers a salary of up to SGD 2800 plus variable bonuses, with working hours from 7am to 4.30pm or 9am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in machinery maintenance or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial machinery is a plus.
• Familiarity with U.S.-standard equipment (e.g., 110V power systems) is an advantage.

• Working Location: East - MacPherson
• Working Hours: 5 days / Mon-Fri: 7am to 4.30pm or 9am to 6.30pm (Alternate shift)
• Salary Package: Up to SGD 2800 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, fabricate, and maintain machinery, equipment, and production accessories to ensure optimal performance
• Train and supervise operators in the proper handling of machinery and equipment
• Ensure the safe operation and continuous performance improvement of all machinery and equipment
• Assist the Production Manager and serve as a technical advisor on issues related to the production process
• Actively participate in quality-related initiatives, contributing technical and engineering solutions
• Set up and manage new machinery under the guidance of Company technical personnel
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to Company Engineering Department regarding the performance of new machinery
• Plan and ensure the readiness of supporting infrastructure such as power conversion (110V for U.S. equipment), air piping, cable routing, and machinery platforms to accommodate new machinery
• Perform other relevant ad hoc duties as required
