Job summary

A logistics and manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the heavy industry sector. Knowledge in PLC and electrical systems is key. This permanent role includes company transportation and a rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Possession of Diploma, NITEC, NTC-2 or ITC Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Min. 3 years' relevant experience in heavy industry sector.
• Knowledge of PLC, control circuits and electrical system.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve various system faults.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.

• Position Title: Maintenance Technician/ Facilities Technician
• Working Location: Jurong Island (Company Transportation Provided)
• Working Hours: 4 days, 12 hours Rotating Shift (2-day shifts + 2 night shift)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Allowances + OT + Incentive + AWS + PB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on packaging and conveying equipment, including vehicles, chassis, forklifts, and industrial facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system faults.
• Identify technical issues through inspections and tests; analyze and diagnose malfunctions.
• Use various tools and equipment for diagnosis and repair; order and replace parts, working with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate repair records and parts inventory; communicate findings and repair options.
• Attend to breakdowns, reduce equipment downtime, and enhance performance through quality maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, maintain workplace housekeeping, and follow safe work procedures.
