The incumbent will provide assistance to the Maintenance Manager to support the smooth operations of the department.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment for both mechanical and electrical work
- Perform equipment failure check, troubleshoot and repair
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedule
- Review daily maintenance work schedule, assign and coach workers to ensure timely task completion
- Coordinate and execute works including :
- fabrication (bracket, stand, conveyor etc)
- maintenance and repair (lifting mechanism, pneumatic actuator, servo moto, pump, solenoid valve alarm panel, piping, fan, gear, packaging machine, inkjet printer)
- Update and maintain spare parts inventory to ensure components are readily available
- Maintain housekeeping in work areas
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years hands-on relevant experience in a construction and/or manufacturing industry
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent
- Must possess licence in electrical works and experience in PLC installation
- Knowledge in AutoCad, Solidwork, Sensor, Priva
- Able to understand and interpret mechanical and electrical wiring design and schematic drawings
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and a strong team player
