About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of production equipment at our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Tuas. This is a full‑time role with Becton Dickinson, a leading global medical technology company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations, contributing directly to the delivery of high‑quality healthcare products.

What you’ll be doing
  1. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and systems according to established procedures and schedules
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform corrective maintenance to restore operations
  3. Maintain detailed maintenance records, documentation, and reports
  4. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment‑related issues
  5. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability
  6. Ensure a safe work environment by following all health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we’re looking for
  1. Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma holders in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 2‑5 years’ relevant experience in the field.
  2. This is a permanent full‑time position, 12 hours night shift 7pm to 7am, shift pattern 3/4/4/3.
  3. A good team player with ability to work cross culture
  4. Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment
  5. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  6. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
  7. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
  8. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
  9. Local Singaporean/PR residency status only will be prioritised
