What You Will Do
  • Perform maintenance and repair work on plant machinery and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors for machine spare parts and ensure sufficient stock of critical spares.
  • Respond promptly to machine recovery call-backs, including outside regular hours if required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment performance.
  • Propose and implement modifications to improve machine functionality.
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Record and update daily work activities using the CMMS system.
  • Support and participate in EH&S, Quality & Continuous Improvement (CORE) activities.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • NITEC in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of machineries.
  • Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operation procedures (SOP).
  • Comfortable with hands-on work to operate with equipment, tools, and machines.
  • A good team player who possesses high initiative and energy.
  • Willing to work on rotating shift and overtime on need basis.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience in TPM, PLC and automation with an Electrical license is preferred.
  • Familiar with workshop equipment such as Plasma, Vacuum furnace, CMMs, CNC machines, Welding system and NDT tools.
