Job description

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house.
• Perform repair and maintenance works on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air‑conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults on equipment such as lighting, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, pumps, and kitchen/laundry machinery.
• Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and work orders from various departments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update job completion status in the system or logbook.
• Assist in the coordination and supervision of contractors for specialized maintenance works.
• Follow safety procedures and hotel policies while carrying out all maintenance activities.
• Support sustainability and energy conservation initiatives within the property.
• Carry out shift duties, standby, and emergency call‑backs as required.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Management.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance operations.
• Hands‑on knowledge in electrical, plumbing or air‑conditioning systems.
• Able to work independently and within a team environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
