Job summary

A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the execution of maintenance work orders. The role requires at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the Chemical/Petrochemical industry. Responsibilities include supervising teams, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in engineering. This position is non-shift work.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of preventive and corrective maintenance work orders and sustaining CAPEX activities.
  • Supervise maintenance teams and contractors, ensuring all tasks meet company standards, regulatory, and SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) requirements.
  • Monitor and verify maintenance progress, quality of work, and completion before asset handover to operations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, coordinate emergency repairs, and support preventive maintenance inspections.
  • Collaborate with the Planner and Maintenance Engineer to plan and schedule work orders, determine corrective actions, and support permit preparation and approvals.
  • Manage work order documentation, including booking accruals, start/end dates, and technical closure records.
  • Provide inputs for long-term maintenance planning, including the 3-year Maintenance Plan.
  • Train, guide, and assess maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure technical competency and safe work practices.
