A leading energy company in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure asset integrity and reliability. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspection, and documentation of equipment records. The ideal candidate has a diploma in mechanical engineering, over 3 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, and demonstrates strong communication skills. This position is local and does not offer relocation.

Perform preventive & predictive maintenance activities as per established asset integrity program, which include visual inspection & condition monitoring of pressure vessel, tank, piping, rotating equipment and civil structure.
Analyzes, assesses, and improves asset integrity, reliability, and effectiveness of preventative and predictive maintenance based on data collected through Inspection, Testing and Maintenance program activity.
Raise SAP work order based on inspection finding & recommendation. Prepare repair procedure with NDT & hydrotest requirement as per company QA/QC manual.
Document & maintain plant equipment maintenance & inspection record through creation of report in Asset Performance Management (APM) system
Coordinate with 3rd party vendor or NDT company to perform field condition monitoring & inspection tasks
Support day to day production urgent issues relating to reliability & integrity of fixed equipment, piping & rotating equipment, such as responding to leaks and ensures repair is done adequately and according to standard
Review & approve Inspection Test Plan (ITP) submitted by contractor and develop ITP when needed
Review and endorse 3rd party NDT result & quality control (QC) package submitted by contractor
NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline
With 3 years or more experience in refineries or petrochemical industry
Good knowledge & experience in fixed equipment & piping inspection, repair & installation activities, which include welding inspection & non-destructive testing (NDT)
Possess a high level of safety awareness and chemical plant safety experience & good knowledge with Permit to work system & JSRA preparation
Possess good oral & writing communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and across functional groups and takes initiative by engaging cross functional teams in resolving plant issues
Ability to plan and organize work efficiently. Ability to work effectively in a scheduled and customer driven environment
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
