Job summary

Kuraray Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to schedule and manage plant maintenance for POVAL and EVAL facilities in Singapore.

You will develop work plans, coordinate with operations, and ensure timely execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective activities. The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, proficiency with SAP PM/CMMS, and strong Excel/PM software skills. Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of maintenance planning experience in manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, or process plant environments.
• Experience coordinating M&P and E&I in-house/contractor maintenance activities.
• Familiar with SAP PM or other CMMS systems such as Zoho Projects or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, corrective, and statutory maintenance activities for POVAL and EVAL plants.
• Create and maintain maintenance workorders, job plans, and task lists in SAP PM/CMMS and other planning /Scheduling Software
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and shutdown maintenance schedules.
• Develop complete job packages including manpower, materials, tools, spare parts, permits, and vendor requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Production coordinator to optimize equipment downtime and maintenance windows.
• Maintain and prioritize maintenance backlog based on equipment criticality and operational requirements.
• Coordinate contractor and vendor activities, including site access, work scope, and service reports.
• Monitor material availability and work with the Stores team to ensure critical spare parts are available before execution.
• Support commissioning, startup, plant modifications, grade-change activities, SDM, and turnaround planning.
• Track schedule compliance, work order completion, backlog status, and maintenance KPIs.
• Ensure accurate recording and closure of maintenance work orders, including labour hours, materials used, and failure codes.
• Maintain equipment records, maintenance history, and documentation.
• Participate in maintenance coordination meetings and provide planning updates for POVAL and EVAL plants.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and work management processes.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
