Job description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager (Construction) to oversee and coordinate all aspects of maintenance and repair operations across our construction sites and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams, executing preventive and corrective maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is critical to ensuring the longevity, functionality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient repairs, servicing, and inspections of construction infrastructure and equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and systems across construction sites.
  • Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to manage post-construction maintenance and warranty work.
  • Ensure compliance with all Land Transport Authority and/or local regulations related to building codes, safety standards, and environmental laws.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including procurement of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Oversee service contracts and vendor relationships for outsourced maintenance work.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and incidents.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in construction maintenance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing construction maintenance projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various site locations as needed.
