About the Role

An advanced manufacturing team in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of equipment performance and reliability across their Metal Injection Molding (MIM) production line. This role will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, while also playing a key role in developing predictive maintenance strategies using sensor data, Industrial IoT, and machine learning.

What you’ll be doing
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on key production equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize unplanned downtime
  • Implement sensor-based condition monitoring (e.g., vibration, temperature, pressure)
  • Support data collection and feature extraction for predictive maintenance modeling
  • Assist in deploying machine learning algorithms in collaboration with the analytics team
  • Work closely with IT, Digital, and Automation teams to integrate data into the MES and real-time dashboards
  • Maintain accurate logs and prepare for CMMS implementation
  • Ensure all activities adhere to workplace safety and regulatory compliance standards
What we’re looking for
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and a basic understanding of machine learning concepts
  • Preferred but not required:
  • Experience using a CMMS
  • Basic Python scripting
  • Exposure to IIoT system integration
