Job summary

A leading facility management company in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to oversee and conduct the preventive and corrective maintenance of building facilities. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance. Responsibilities include routine inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of building facilities and equipment at Quayside Isle. The role ensures all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems @ Quayside Isle function safely and reliably to support daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of building facilities, M&E systems, and equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure all systems (e.g. electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, fire protection) are in optimal condition.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor faults in lighting, power points, water fittings, and air-conditioning systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair, servicing, and upgrading works.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain proper maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building standards.
  • Support facility improvement projects and other assigned duties.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Diploma/ITE in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in building or facility maintenance.
  • Good technical knowledge of M&E systems, plumbing and sanitary system.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willing to work on-site.
  • Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to incident management.
