Job summary

Neste's Tuas Refinery seeks a Maintenance E&I Planner to join the Maintenance team in Singapore. The role focuses on electrical, instrument and analyzer maintenance planning and close collaboration with Asset Management, Operations, Technical, and HSSEQ.

We expect 8+ years of refinery/petrochemical maintenance planning experience, with strong CMMS knowledge and a solid understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation and Process Analyzer systems.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical maintenance planning.
• Experience in maintenance work control, planning and reliability methodologies.
• Strong understanding of field maintenance across Electrical, Instrumentation and Process Analyzers; knowledge of petroleum/petrochemical plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed planning steps that meet safety standards and site requirements for preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling.
• Prepare planning work packages and set up for execution.
• Coordinate with PMC, Asset Integrity & Reliability, Warehouse, Procurement, contractors and vendors for work package preparations.
• Review work requests to prepare materials, spare parts, PRs and MRs.
• Coordinate with procurement and technical teams to source cost-competitive materials and services for safe, quality field execution.
• Create and update task lists in the library; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the scheduler to optimize resources and durations without compromising safety or operations.
• Deliver long-term planning by anticipating opportunities and equipment conditions to formulate effective plans.

Develop detailed planning steps incorporating safety standards and site requirements, for both Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for Scheduling.

Develop & complete planning work packages, readying/setting up for execution.

Coordinate with PMC, Asset Integrity & Reliability team, Warehouse team, Procurement team and contractors or vendors for work package preparations.

Referencing detailed planning steps for work requests, to prepare materials or spare parts required, create & release inventory PR, generate MR for stock items.

Coordinate with procurement, asset integrity & technical team on getting accurate & cost competitive materials, services and technical specialists/expertise to enable field execution team in achieving safe, quality & timely maintenance activities, subsequently raising PRs.

Create and update task lists in the task library and contribute to continuous improvement for task lists accuracy.

Work closely with the scheduler to optimise all resources & duration for efficiency, while making sure Operations and Safety are not compromised.

Delivers long-term visioned planning by anticipating opportunities, strategies & equipment/asset conditions to formulate effective and efficient plans

Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

At least 8 years relevant experience in refinery and petrochemical.

Experienced in maintenance work control, planning, reliability methodologies.

Solid understanding of field maintenance across Electrical (switchgears, VFDs, hazardous areas), Instrumentation (DCS/PLC interlocks, control valves, transmitters, P&IDs), and Process Analyzers (GCs, CEMS, sample conditioning systems).

Knowledgeable with international standards, petroleum /petrochemical plant equipment

Knowledge in CMMS software

Good communication with strategic thinking, negotiation, and business sense
