Job summary

A leading aerospace components manufacturer in Singapore is hiring Manufacturing Technicians. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain various CNC and conventional machines. Candidates must have NITEC or Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in a similar environment. Job description

ALG is currently hiring Manufacturing Technicians for our client based in Singapore. The client is a manufacturer of aerospace components, and is one of the business units of a major aerospace and defense company.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Setup, operate and maintain all types of conventional or CNC machines such as Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, broaching and conventional machines in the cell/process
  • Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks
  • Perform simple troubleshooting of machines
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Maintain pertinent records; Shop-paper and work in accordance to technical instructions and drawings
  • Work in an orderly manner and keeping work areas, benches and machinery in a tidy and clean condition after used
  • Notify the Supervisor timely for any machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions
  • Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor
Job Requirements
  • NITEC /Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years working experience in a Precision Engineering environment
