Key Responsibilities
  • CNC Machine Operation & Setup
    Operate CNC milling/turning machines (e.g., Mazak, DMG Mori, Haas). Perform machine setups, tool changes, and fixturing adjustments. Monitor machining processes to ensure dimensional accuracy (±0.005mm tolerance).
  • Quality Control & Inspection
    Conduct first-article inspections using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM). Follow engineering drawings and GD&T standards. Report deviations and assist in troubleshooting machining defects.
  • Maintenance & Process Support
    Assist in preventive maintenance (lubrication, coolant management). Support engineers in process optimization (cycle time reduction, tool life improvement). Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    Record production data (output, scrap rates, downtime). Follow ISO/AS9100 work instructions. Adhere to safety protocols (LOTO, PPE).
Qualifications & Skills
  • NITEC/Diploma in Precision Engineering/Machining (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
  • 1+ years of CNC machining experience (internship/apprenticeship counts)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and basic G-code understanding
