About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Machine Vision Engineer. As a key member of their engineering group, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced machine vision systems for our clients in the automation and semiconductor industries.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop, and implement machine vision systems for a variety of automation and semiconductor applications
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate machine vision capabilities into complex production and assembly line setups
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing machine vision systems to improve performance and reliability
• Provide technical support and training to end‑users of the machine vision systems
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends and technologies in machine vision and automation
• Contribute to the ongoing research and development of new machine vision solutions

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine vision system design and development, preferably in the automation or semiconductor industries
• Strong understanding of image processing algorithms, sensor technology, and industrial automation protocols
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB
• Experience with machine vision software platforms like GUI, MVTec HALCON, or Cognex VisionPro
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders
• Problem‑solving skills and a passion for innovative engineering solutions
