Job summary

A technology solutions provider is looking for a skilled professional to participate in the implementation of a modern MLS system. You will collaborate with architects and development leads, manage server and database setups, and address production issues. Ideal candidates should have experience in Hadoop, NoSQL, Git, Jenkins, and have moderate SQL skills. This position is based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Hadoop ecosystem and technologies.
• Experience in NoSQL database or Big Data.
• Experience in Git, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Experience in SharePoint and Confluence.
• Knowledge in Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle, Java, Python, and Spark.
• Moderate SQL skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in system implementation of MLS system.
• Collaborate with Architects, Security and Development Lead on solution design.
• Liaise with application teams across groups/countries on the enhancement builds.
• Setup Servers, Databases, Middleware, deployment pipelines.
• Manage Environment and capacity planning.
• Ensure recommended software improvements are optimized.
• Support Production issues on root cause analysis and resolution.
• Liaise with other application teams and business users for SIT/UAT.
• Manage project change request approval windows and deployment schedule.

Job Requirements

• Experience in Hadoop ecosystem and technologies.
• Experience in NoSQL database or Big Data.
• Experience in Git, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Experience in SharePoint and Confluence.
• Experience / knowledge in Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle, Java and Python, Spark.
• Moderate SQL skills are required.
