To help us build upon our success, we are seeking a Machine Learning Project Manager to contribute in improving our search system performance and scalability. The position reports to the VP of Sales, APAC and will work in close conjunction with the Product, Algorithm/Data Science, and various Engineering teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Drive End-to-End Project Delivery

• In charge of end-to-end project development lifecycle(s):

1. Gather user requirements from the client
2. Scope the project in terms of technical requirements, product specifications, deliverables, performance SLAs and timelines
3. Plan project milestones and resources required
4. Provide cost estimates for budget approval
5. Lead development sprint cycles to schedule and monitor — A) Data collection, annotation and pre-processing activities, B) Model training and iterative improvement activities, C) Model performance validation activities, D) SDK integration activities, E) Quality assurance checks activities
   • Draft project SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
   • Draft release notes

• Lead and coach the development team to achieve successful outcomes
• Manage project scope and schedule
• Oversee internal cost control
• Ensure quality assurance across the project deliverables
• Oversee Issue and Risk Management
• Evaluation, scoping, and impact assessment (timelines, budget) for Change Requests
• Provide timely escalations and propose suitable mitigation actions to the Product Owner

Collaborate with Functional Teams to Support Project Outcomes

• Work closely with the Data Science and Engineering teams to schedule and action the project activities
• Partner with the Finance and Legal team to ensure timely follow-ups with contractual and financial matters
• Partner with the HR team for staffing requirements
• Manage third-party vendor(s) to ensure timely delivery of services as per project timeline

Act as the Company's Point of Contact with Client(s)

• Cultivate strong relationships with client(s) and client partner(s), actively engaging them to align project outcomes, deliverables, and implementation plans
• Provide advice and support to the client

YOU ARE A PERFECT FIT IF YOU HAVE

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• At least 3 years of client-facing project/program management experience in AI/ML specific projects
• Understanding of machine learning and data science knowledge
• Process strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and data-driven problem solving skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
