Job description

• Basic from $10,000 to $14,000 + Variable Bonus
• Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 6pm
• Sat, 8:30am – 12:30pm
• Location: Ang Mo Kio

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and project teams, ensuring resolution of mechanical issues and compliance with specifications and contract terms.
• Prepare technical documentation, support tender submissions, and contribute to value engineering and presentation materials.
• Participate in project planning, including scope definition, manpower planning, schedules (e.g., Gantt charts), and budgeting using tools like Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project performance, including cash flow, P&L, and operational progress, while advising on site issues, manpower deployment, and procurement matters.
• Engage with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to address project-related concerns and ensure smooth execution.
• Assist in variation order justifications, claim settlements, and recruitment needs across project lifecycles.
• Foster relationships with potential clients and consultants to support future project opportunities.
• Uphold contractual knowledge and promote best practices through leadership, mentorship, and team motivation.

Requirements

• Min. Degree Mechanical Engineering & at least 10 years of experience in ACMV and fire protection systems.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) is an advantage.
• Fluent in Mandarin & English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proactive, self-driven, and confident in engaging with senior stakeholders, clients, and consultants.
