Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced M&E RTO to oversee project compliance and quality. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, conducting inspections, and submitting progress reports. Candidates should have a diploma or higher in M&E discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Required Accreditation of M&E RTO Certificate by IES.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Review all project drawings (including working drawings, shop drawings, authority submission drawings and as-built drawings) and specifications including architectural works, and raise any discrepancies and / or possible problems before the ACMV, Plumbing & Sanitary, Electrical, Fire Protection System and architectural work commences on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project
• Submission of weekly RTO report for the completed M&E works, which shall highlight the progress or any quality issues
• Attend site meetings and site walks with Owner and consultants
• Administer and conduct periodic inspections on the provision of safety measures together with the Contractor’s site safety supervisor or Contractor representative to ensure that the Contractor complies with the Safety requirements
• Check on site quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications
• Ensure that the contractors carry out their work in compliance with Codes of Practices and requirements of authorities and government agencies
• Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner
• Supervision of all M&E, structural, and Architectural works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations
• Monitor the progress of work and certify contractor monthly progress claim according to actual work done on site
• Date of commencement: Dec 2025
• Working Days: Mon to Fri (830am to 6pm)
• Contract Period: 15 months with an option to extend further based on project needs

Requirements:

• Diploma / NCCS holder or higher in M&E discipline
• Must be experienced in reviewing architectural works

• Required Accreditation of M&E RTO Certificate by IES
• Experience in supervision work in a secured area and office renovation works in split/VRF air conditioning systems, lighting, switch aocket outlet, data point, fire protection system, plumbing and sanitary works will be an advantage.
