Qualifications

• A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects.
• Familiar with local codes and regulations.

• Assist the Resident Engineer with technical and design issues.
• Provide supervision as directed by the Resident Engineer.
• Check construction drawings for discrepancies.

Overview

Project Location: River Valley Road area (Mixed Development)

Job Description

• Assist the Resident Engineer and Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records and issue site memos for non-compliance.
• Estimated commencement of work in Oct/Nov 2025.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects.
• Experience in supervision of Mechanical Services installation for residential, hotel or retail would be added advantage.
• Familiar with local codes and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills.
