About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to lead facilities management operations at a healthcare site. This role involves managing a technical team, ensuring system reliability, and delivering high-quality maintenance and project support.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Technical Officers and Technicians in managing M&E facilities operations.
  • Advise and oversee technical investigations for rectification works.
  • Liaise with contractors for rectification works and ad-hoc projects.
  • Investigate, analyze, and determine root causes of breakdowns and faults; report findings effectively.
  • Prepare technical reports on breakdowns and proposals for improvement.
  • Develop technical specifications for system upgrades and new installations.
  • Ensure complete documentation of procedures and maintenance works.
  • Plan and execute yearly maintenance schedules.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in liaising with clients on system-related matters.
  • Mentor and develop technical officers’ skills.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc assignments, projects, or repairs as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems and facilities management practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and customer service mindset.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates good safety awareness and adheres to Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards.
