Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an M&E Project Coordinator/Draftsperson to manage project coordination and technical drafting for M&E projects. The candidate will oversee on-site activities, ensure compliance with regulations, and prepare drawings using AutoCAD. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in a relevant field and 1-3 years of experience, or entry-level candidates with strong technical skills are welcome. The position offers a working time of 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in Architecture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit MEP or other BIM software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of M & E systems, local codes and authority submission processes.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience preferred; entry level with strong technical skills may be considered.

M&E Project Coordinator / Draftsperson

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Time: 9am to 6pm

Working Location: Balestier

Salary: $ 2500 - $ 4000
This role involves both project coordination and technical drafting to support our projects from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage M & E works, liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities for submissions and approvals.
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with standards, codes and safety regulations.
• Prepare, update and review M & E drawings using AutoCAD (Knowledge of Revit MEP / BIM is an advantage).
• Conduct inspections of M & E installations, such as Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects and consultants to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain proper drawing records, manage revisions and prepare submission / as-built documentation.
• Assist in site measurements, verification of works and other ad-hoc project-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in Architecture, Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit MEP or other BIM software is advantageous.
