Job summary

ARTEMIS EXECUTIVE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced M&E Coordination professional to ensure on-site integration of mechanical and electrical works for high-rise projects. You will interpret designs, coordinate drawings, and liaise with sub-contractors under tight schedules.

The role requires a degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of M&E coordination experience, and a proactive team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish project objectives within constraints such as scope, time, cost and quality.
• Interpret technical designs and drawings for construction on-site.
• Check structural and architectural drawings together with the M&E drawings for coordination and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure M&E sub-contractors are issued relevant drawings for shop drawings and issue amendments as needed.
• Liaise with sub-contractors on discrepancies and inform consultants and Project Manager until resolved.
• Monitor and control progress of M&E subcontractors to avoid delays and clashes.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accomplishing the project objectives within the constraints such as project scope, time, cost and quality
• Interpret technical designs and drawings for construction on-site
• Check the structural drawings and architectural drawings together with the M&E drawings for coordination and resolve conflict / problems.
• Ensure that M&E sub-contractors are issued a set of relevant structural and architectural drawings for their preparation of their shop drawings and issue any subsequent amendment drawings, sketches or information
• Liaise with sub-contractors on such discrepancies in their drawings and then inform the consultants and Project Manager on regular basis and follow up action until resolved.
• Monitor and control the progress of M&E subcontractors so that they do not delay the works of trades others and vice versa.
• Liaise with M&E sub-contractors on production of structural penetration drawings and cast-in items and inform the Project Engineer of such provision at technical meetings

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical | Civil Engineering or equivalent academic qualifications
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in M&E Coordination
• Must have experience working on High Rise Building Projects
• A solid team player
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
