Job description
  • Provide technical support and assist the Site Quantity Surveyor in preparing work-in-progress claims and variation works.
  • Review structural, architectural, and M&E drawings to identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions to prevent conflicts during construction.
  • Ensure M&E subcontractors receive the latest and relevant structural and architectural drawings for shop drawing preparation and issue updates, amendments, or supplementary information when required.
  • Liaise with M&E subcontractors on drawing discrepancies, highlight issues to consultants and the Project Manager, and follow up on resolutions.
  • Monitor and control the progress of M&E subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project schedules and does not delay other trades.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to produce structural penetration drawings and cast-in item requirements and update the Project Engineer during technical meetings.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably minimum 3 years of relevant supervisory experience in construction or M&E coordination.
