Job description

My client, a leading player in transactional risk management, is seeking a proactive M&A Analyst to join their dynamic international team and support the evaluation and underwriting of diverse M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret company and transaction data, including financial statements, due diligence materials, and purchase agreements.
  • Participate in the underwriting assessment of M&A deals, assisting with risk evaluation, policy structuring, and drafting coverage documents transactional insurance solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, policy binders, and other relevant documentation to support the underwriting process.
  • Liaise closely with brokers, lawyers, clients, and deal teams to ensure seamless and timely progression from deal submission to policy binding.
  • Research emerging trends in the M&A and insurance markets, providing strategic insights to the underwriting team.
  • Collaborate with senior underwriters to present findings, address transaction issues, and support portfolio management activities.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
  • Around 2 years’ experience in M&A, corporate finance, insurance/underwriting, or transactional services.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with an aptitude for risk assessment.
  • Detail-oriented, a proactive self-starter, and comfortable with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented, open to collaboration, and eager to grow in a global industry.
  • English with additional language capability in Chinese or Korean is a must.
