Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail operations for a global luxury outdoor sportswear brand. The ideal candidate comes from a luxury fashion or premium apparel background, with a strong passion for the outdoors and a proven ability to deliver exceptional client experiences.
You will be responsible for driving sales performance, elevating guest engagement, and leading a high-performing team to embody the brand’s values and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Guest Experience
- Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring alignment with the store’s business objectives.
- Champion the brand’s client journey by delivering personalized, authentic, and elevated service experiences.
- Leverage CRM tools to strengthen client relationships, enhance retention, and grow the client base.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery with professionalism and empathy.
- Lead from the sales floor (minimum 80% of working hours) to model client service excellence and coach the team in real time.
- Manage and resolve unexpected or sensitive in-store situations, ensuring brand reputation and client satisfaction.
2. Team Leadership & People Development
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team through consistent coaching, recognition, and structured performance management.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, training, and career development.
- Build leadership capabilities within the team to ensure succession readiness and long-term engagement.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and brand-aligned store culture reflecting professionalism and collaboration.
- Uphold brand standards in grooming, conduct, and presentation at all times.
3. Store Operations & Visual Merchandising
- Oversee daily store operations including scheduling, opening/closing, inventory management, and store upkeep.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient replenishment processes.
- Maintain exceptional visual presentation standards in line with brand guidelines and seasonal directives.
- Monitor and manage store budgets, labor planning, and operational efficiency through company systems and tools.
4. Community & Brand Engagement
- Represent and embody the brand’s passion for performance, sustainability, and outdoor lifestyle.
- Strengthen community engagement through local partnerships, events, and ambassador programs.
- Serve as the brand representative within the local market and external engagements.
- Conduct regular team briefings and leadership meetings to align the team on brand initiatives, performance, and goals.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification.
- 3–5 years of retail management experience in luxury or premium fashion/apparel brands.
- Proven success in leading teams and driving sales performance in a client‑centric retail environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, scheduling, and expense control.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, CRM, visual merchandising, and store SOPs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client‑first mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail/CRM systems.
- Mandarin is required due to the need to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients and counterparts
- Passion for outdoor activities, performance lifestyle, or technical apparel.
- Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
