What the role is:

[LTA-TRO] EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER/ DATA ANALYST, ROAD & PEDESTRIAN SAFETY

What you will be working on:

You will be part of the team that spearheads data analytics, research efforts and leveraging on digital technologies, focused on advancing road and pedestrian safety in Singapore. You will have the opportunity to drive meaningful change in the road and pedestrian safety landscape in Singapore, through the integration of meaningful data insights, geo-spatial analysis, and compelling data visualizations to inform decisions and strategies. Your work will also involve conducting in-depth research to identify trends, issues and areas for improvement. In addition, you will contribute to the formulation of policies and strategies that promote a safer environment for all road users. Collaboration with internal divisions within LTA, as well as with external government agencies, academia, and industry partners, will be essential to achieve shared goals and deliver innovative solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other related technical fields;
• Relevant experience with data analysis, GIS and/or data visualization tools;
• Possess strong problem‑solving ability
• Self‑motivated, adaptable & possess strong sense of responsibility;
• Able to work independently and a good team player;
• Good writing, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills;

Experience in or good knowledge of the following will be an added advantage:

• Project management
• Data structure and management including those in geospatial analysis, statistical analysis
• Best practices in data visualization and the ability to create interactive and engaging visual representations of data
