Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking an Engineer for KPE/MCE management to oversee the integration of OT and IT systems, from design reviews to site supervision, installation, testing and commissioning of road tunnel operations.

You will engage stakeholders, manage contractors and vendors, and ensure timely system commissioning, with emphasis on strong problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of OT cybersecurity principles, risks, and controls.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Python, Snowflake, or Tableau.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders on interfacing design and manage contractors and system vendors throughout project development to ensure timely and successful system commissioning.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders on interfacing design and manage contractors and system vendors throughout project development to ensure timely and successful system commissioning.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Engage stakeholders to gather, define, and translate business requirements into workable technical solutions.
• Lead or participate in the design and review of integration solutions between various systems, applications, and databases using APIs, middleware, and other relevant technologies.
• Identify potential integration risks, assess their implications, and recommend mitigating measures to minimise operational impact to support smooth and timely project delivery.
• Identify key business processes for improvement to achieve greater efficacy and better support tunnel operations.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Good understanding of Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA systems, OT communication protocols (e.g. Modbus or Profinet) and middleware or integration platforms that bridge OT and IT environments.
• Working knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles, risks, controls, and industry best practices to ITS will be an advantage.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Python, Snowflake, or Tableau will be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, with a strong sense of ownership and analytical thinking.
