Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for Intelligent Transport Systems development in Singapore. You will help ensure secure traffic operations by overseeing cybersecurity architecture and incident response for OT and IT systems across Land Transport System.

Key responsibilities include designing OT/IT security architectures, providing expert security consultancy, conducting risk assessments, and supporting governance and incident response efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years in IT security; senior roles possible for suitable candidates.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Hands-on with security tools and technologies like SIEM, DLP, PAM, WAF.
• Experience in security architecture of cloud-native apps and OT systems.
• Knowledge on risks, controls, vulnerability assessment, and cyber best-practices.

[What the role is]

[LTA-TRO] CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER, INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

[What you will be working on]

Play a part to ensure efficient and traffic operations in Singapore.You will be part of a team to overseeing the cybersecurity solution, architecture and incident response for the operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems for traffic and road systems in Land Transport System.

• Design and develop OT and IT security architectures that align with business objectives and compliance requirements

• Provide expert security consultancy to project teams and senior management on complex security challenges

• Conduct security architecture and design reviews and risk assessments OT and IT systems, and provide remediation recommendations

• Assist in security architecture governance processes and ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards

• Evaluate emerging infrastructure and security technologies and make recommendations for adoption

• Develop innovative approaches to address complex security challenges

• Assist in coordinating the response and investigation efforts during cybersecurity incidents.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in Engineering or Computer Science

• At least 3 years of working experience in IT Security. Candidates with requisite skills and experience might be considered for senior roles.

• Deep understanding and hands-on experience of security tools and technologies, such as Security Information and Events Management, Data Loss Prevention, Database Activity Monitoring, Data Security and Protection, Privileged Access Management, File Integrity Monitoring, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevent etc

• Experience in security architecture of cloud native applications and/or OT systems

• Candidates with strong knowledge and experience in information and cybersecurity risks, controls, vulnerability assessment/penetration testing, digital forensic, compliance and industry IT/cyber security best-practices preferred.

• Professional accreditation such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GICSP and GCIH would be advantageous.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
