Job summary

sggovterp invites applications for Executive Engineer / Engineer, Systems Assurance to join our transit and traffic projects in Singapore. You will provide systems assurance support and contribute to engineering standards and reliability analyses.

The role suits candidates with an engineering background and at least 3 years' experience in transit design or projects; senior positions may be offered to more experienced applicants.

Qualifications

• Background knowledge in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in transit engineering design or project.
• Good team player with analytical mind and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Systems Assurance, safety management and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems assurance support to transit and traffic projects.
• Assist in engineering management support and development of engineering standards.
• Review reliability, availability, maintainability and safety analyses for LTA.
• Participate in external consultancy projects through MSI Global projects.

What the role is

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER/ ENGINEER, SYSTEMS ASSURANCE

What you will be working on

You will provide systems assurance support to various transit and traffic projects. You will assist in providing engineering management support; the development of engineering standards; as well as reviewing systems reliability, availability, maintainability and safety analyses for LTA. You will also be involved in external consultancy projects through MSI Global projects.

What we are looking for

• Background knowledge in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in transit engineering design or project
• Good team player with strong analytical mind and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Systems Assurance (e.g. Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety), safety management and certification process and Electrical and Mechanical systems knowledge from past or current transit and traffic projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Those with more relevant years of experience will be considered for senior positions
• Those without experience are welcome to apply
