Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer, Rail Control to join the Rail Group (Electrical and Mechanical).

You will contribute to the Integrated Supervisory and Control System (ISCS), an integrated platform for operators to supervise, control and coordinate safe passenger and train movements across subsystems such as automatic train supervision, power supply and passenger information systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Control Engineering
• Strong project management skills
• Good communication, written and interpersonal skills
• Able to perform shift and night work including weekends
• Those without working experience are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ISCS project delivery within the Rail Group (Electrical and Mechanical).
• Support integration and coordination across subsystems: ATCS, power supply, environmental control, fire protection, communications and passenger information systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and safety requirements are met.

ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER, RAIL CONTROL

You will be part of the Rail Group (Electrical and Mechanical) project team and be assigned to work on the Integrated Supervisory and Control System (ISCS). You will have an opportunity to work on an integrated system with control centers that are designed to enable operators to supervise, control and coordinate the safe and efficient movement of passengers and trains. The major subsystems and equipment managed by ISCS include automatic train supervision, power supply, environmental control system, fire protection system, communications and passenger information systems.
