A government agency in Singapore is seeking a dynamic Deputy/Assistant Manager for the Bus Financing, Investment and Governance team. DEPUTY/ ASSISTANT MANAGER, POLICY (BUS FINANCING, INVESTMENT AND GOVERNANCE)

[What you will be working on]

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Bus Financing, Investment and Governance (BusFIG) team. The team plays a key role in developing and reviewing policies for the public bus industry, to ensure its long term sustainability.

In this role, you will conduct financial analyses, interpret diverse datasets, and collaborate across departments to examine policy considerations and trade-offs to support informed decision-making. You will also develop and administer processes that support the organisation's governance framework and financial discipline. Additionally, you will also conduct forward-looking analyses to identify emerging issues and guide investments towards addressing them.

[What we are looking for]
  • Knowledge in any discipline, preferably in Economics/ Finance / Accountancy/ Business Administration
  • Ability to think critically, formulate structured arguments, and communicate clearly and logically in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to drive quantitative and financial analyses
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong interest for public policy, transport economics, knowledge of financial analyses and commercial arrangements will be an advantage
  • Candidates with strong relevant years of experience may be considered for senior roles
