Job summary

Land Transport Authority is seeking a Principal / Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (GIS/AI) to design, develop and roll out geospatial AI-centric MVPs and digital products. You will collaborate with users, contractors and stakeholders to conceptualise and implement solutions, while contributing to architecture decisions and model optimization.

The role requires familiarity with ReactJS, JavaScript, CSS, NodeJS, Python, SQL/NoSQL, cloud platforms and AI/GenAI/ML techniques.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in IT, CS, Eng or related field.

• Experience with application design and architecture.
• Experience with AI models, including GenAI and ML.
• Ability to fine-tune and optimise AI models.
• Experience with LLMs (e.g. GPT, LangChain).
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology and DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Government Cloud Platforms (GCC, GCC+).
• Experience in NLP and computer vision is a plus.
• Usability and design thinking a plus.
• Active learner and advocate for new software technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

What you will be working on:

You will be part of the in-house software engineering team that collaborates with the various stakeholders (e.g. users, contractors) to conceptualise, design, develop and rollout Geospatial AI-centric MVPs and digital products.

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Fresh graduates with no relevant working experience are welcome to apply
• Familiar with ReactJS, JavaScript, CSS, NodeJS, Python, SQL, NoSQL
• Working experience with application design and architecture
• Working experience in implementing AI models, including GenAI and ML
• Ability to fine-tune and optimise various AI models to meet specific needs
• Ability to work with LLM and their equivalents (e.g. GPT, LangChain)
