Job summary

Lenovo PCCW Solutions is seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage server installation, maintenance and performance optimization on RHEL 7/8/9 and Solaris environments. You will provide 24x7 support for critical production systems and perform root-cause analyses with action plans.

Description and Requirements

1. Server installation, Administration and performance optimization with RedHat 7/8/9 with minimum 3 years of Experience in RHEL and WOG environment
2. Provides technical assistance and support for applications, hardware problems. Prepare evaluations and reports on system efficiency and utilization
3. Innovative and talented System Administrator who will be responsible for production up-time, health checkup of physical systems. Provide 24x7 support to critical production systems and team members.
4. Performing root cause analysis of problems. Prepare a plan of action, implement changes, document all work completed
5. Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical and technical audiences.
6. Responsible for Linux/UNIX security hardening in accordance with the CIS guidance.
7. Storage addition on RHEL/Solaris servers
8. Make Sure RHEL and Solaris servers have latest security os patches with RHEL satellite server knowledge.
9. Knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Load Balancers and Firewalls and OS cluster, Virtualization.
10. User administration tasks on RHEL 7/8/9 and Solaris10/11 servers.
