Your Role

As a Secondary Science/Physics Teacher at The Classroom, you will:

  • Conduct approximately 9–11 classes weekly (in-person & online).

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver structured, engaging lessons with practical experiments.

  • Develop & refine teaching materials (worksheets, quizzes, digital content).

  • Regularly communicate student progress and provide feedback to parents.

  • Maintain an engaging classroom environment.

  • Participate in training, peer-sharing sessions, and professional development.

Requirements
  • Strong Science Background: O-Level Chemistry, Physics or Biology (A1/A2) or A-Level (A/B).

  • Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching or tutoring Science (or other subjects) is highly preferred. NIE-trained teachers or Degree holders in Physics, Science, or Engineering is a bonus.

  • Engaging Personality: You need to be able to make learning fun and approachable.

  • Adaptability & Drive: You must be committed to professional growth and willing to take on new challenges in your teaching journey.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Be comfortable engaging with students, parents, and colleagues in a professional yet approachable manner.

  • Long-Term Commitment: You are committed to growing with us for at least 3 years, ensuring continuity and meaningful impact on our students.

Working Hours
  • 4 Weekdays and 1 Weekend

  • Weekend (Sat or Sun): 8.45am–6.15pm (varies based on classes)
