What You Will Be Responsible For

• Design and provide technical solution reviews and evaluations related to weak current systems for new and renovated data centers. This includes analyzing requirements and creating systematic designs (such as structured cabling, data center engineering, security systems, network communications, audio-visual systems, building intelligence applications, etc.), guiding the design firm in producing construction drawings, and ensuring seamless implementation.
• Manage the procurement and bidding process for weak current system projects. Interface with external consultants, design firms, equipment suppliers, and internal departments to ensure clear communication, evaluate technical proposals, review construction drawings and technical solutions, and oversee deliverable quality control.
• Develop practical standards, technical specifications, and workflows related to weak current system designs based on project requirements and provide supervision during their implementation. Drive innovation, standardization, and iterative upgrades for system designs.
• Collaborate across project stages, including engineering system acceptance, equipment factory tests, installation inspection, and final approval phases. Provide technical guidance during system testing and verification to ensure compliance and high-quality execution.
• Ensure smooth transition of design deliverables to practical application. Take ownership of project progression and contribute to on-site construction management throughout the lifecycle of the project, demonstrating effective management of real-world tasks.
• Exhibit innovative problem-solving abilities during project design phases and address complex technical challenges with ingenuity and expertise.

What You Will Stand Out

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems emphasis
• Professional Engineer certification would be beneficial but not mandatory
• 10 years of experience in electrical engineering or project management
• 3 to 8 years of verifiable professional design experience with medium and high voltage power systems and distribution
• Substation design experience desired
• Knowledge of power distribution equipment including transformers, switches, power quality, harmonic analysis, short circuit and arc flash analysis, grounding, and lightning protection
• Fluency with MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and power system modelling software
• Works well with teams and other design professionals
• Sensitive to time, costs, and deadlines
• Capacity to analyze a problem from multiple perspectives and explore creative solutions
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to travel to various locations

What You Will Experience Working With Us

• Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Automation, or related fields.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years, including at least 5 years in the data center industry; capable of independently coordinating cross-disciplinary efforts for data center design and managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Professional Skills: Familiar with data center infrastructure products and equipment, as well as various communication protocols; well-versed in domestic and international standards and guidelines related to data centers. Proficient in CAD and office software. Strong experience in technical review, management, and design coordination.
• Comprehensive Abilities: Able to travel internationally; strong bilingual (Chinese and English) communication and presentation skills; highly responsible; overseas work experience or professional certifications are a plus.
