Job summary

HOCK CHUAN HONG WASTE MANAGEMENT PTE LTD is seeking a Hook-Lift Truck Driver in Singapore to safely collect and deliver open-top containers for diverse sites, including construction, business, and residential areas.

You will operate a hook-lift truck, perform pre- and post-trip checks, maintain logs, and coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely service while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hook-lift truck to collect and deliver open-top containers to and from designated locations.
• Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of containers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report any major issues to the maintenance department.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
