Job summary

WORLD METAL RECOVERY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a reliable Lorry Driver to perform daily inspections, operate a lorry, transport materials according to schedule, and collect goods from suppliers to factory or project sites.

You will ensure all shipments have correct documentation, keep the vehicle clean and organized, comply with LTA road safety rules and site safety requirements, and inform your supervisor of any issues for corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Performing a daily inspection of lorry prior to operation (e.g. oil/water/fuel level check, tyre pressure, oil leakages, and others)
• Driving and operation of a lorry.Transport materials and goods according to the assigned schedule.
• Collection of goods from supplier or vendor to Company factory or Project Site.
• Ensure all products shipment with correct documentation (DO and etc)
• Keeping the lorry clean and organized, e.g. ensuring the decking platform is cleared of unwanted materials, etc..
• Complying with LTA Road Safety and traffic regulation.
• Complying with various site safety regulations and requirements.
• Keeps immediate supervisor informed of any activities, results of efforts, and problems identified; recommends corrective actions to immediate supervisor.
