A leading automotive innovation company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations. The role includes managing inventory, picking orders, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of parts to the Production Team. The role includes a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining an organized, safe, and effective warehouse environment.
Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, storing, and tracking inventory. Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies.
Order Picking and Distribution (GI): Retrieve products from storage, ensuring they are properly packed and prepared for shipment according to customer orders and delivery schedules.
Receiving (GR): Support the loading and unloading of goods from trucks. Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Quality Control: Handle, store, and distribute products in compliance with safety and quality standards. Inspect goods for damage or defects.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse by following established procedures for labeling, shelving, and product storage.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and warehouse protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to support timely and efficient operations. Help resolve any logistical issues that arise.
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to move goods as needed (training may be provided).
Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory systems).
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (typically up to 20KG).
Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and practices.
Possess a forklift license with experience in forklift operation.
