Logistics Supervisor (Warehouse/ SAP/ WMS/ Pharmaceutical)

12-Months Contract

Location: Tuas

Salary up to $5,500 depending on experience

Our client specializes in producing high-quality pharmaceutical products, supporting global healthcare with advanced technology.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee and manage the daily physical operations of the warehouse, including inbound, Manufacturing top up and outbound Warehouse and inventory management.
  • Team Management: Provide guidance and training to team members to maintain high team performance. Ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with operational standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate on-site operations with external parties such as the vendor or 3PL as well as internal teams such as manufacturing, QA/QA, HSE, EE and IT etc. or any other department to ensure smooth operational flow and adherence to safety protocol
  • Daily PRO (production processing order) monitor: Work closely with manufacturing & Quality team on the daily production order processing including order process, picking, packing and delivery to manufacturing team etc.
  • 3PL management: Work closely with 3PL on the daily material top up from bulk Warehouse or any return trip. Timely process Defect material application and closure. Monitor 3PL performance and timely solve any
  • Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze data reports to identify operational bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and implement initiatives to improve throughput and performance.
  • Ops Report handling: Deviation, Non-compliance report, HES incidents report, Change control, and RA (Risk Assessment) & IA (Impact Assessment) report etc.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in operational throughput and work towards achieving sustained delivery performance enhancements.
  • Inbound & Outbound Shipment arrangement. Shipping documents preparation (such as packing list, invoice or permit etc.) and liaising with shipper /consignee or forwarders for shipment movement.
  • Assist on Shipping validation process and collect related data or report preparation
  • Coaching and Training: Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees to support skill development and optimize performance.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Meeting or exceeding operational SLAs, improving performance based on data analysis, ensuring smooth coordination with stakeholders, enhancing employee development and training, and driving continuous delivery performance improvements.
  • System: Perform and understand SAP (Hana), EWM transaction and be the backup of key user among the team
  • Inventory management: Manage inventory and do cycle count. Handle administrative tasks like inventory adjustments and scrapping.
  • Maintain highest levels of tidiness, cleanliness, and organization across all Warehouse work areas using the 5S methodology.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain and ensure all warehouse equipment is in working condition.
  • Extend support to other projects or ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager, Be the point of contact for any Ops floor issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operation in a supervisory role with leading a team
  • Diploma in Logistics or Warehouse, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields
  • Proactive, hands-on, and a good team player
  • Proficient in MS, especially Excel, Word and PPT.
  • Familiarity with key Warehouse Management System (WMS & SAP Hana) functionalities
  • Have pharmaceutical / Biomedical background working experience in Warehouse or logistics functions
