Supervise operational excellence across domestic and international business units in APAC for time-critical logistics. Work with cross-functional teams to optimise logistics, ensure compliance, and enhance profitability while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution
- Oversee day-to-day operations for time-critical logistics and client service activities. Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., on-time delivery, cost per shipment) and implement corrective actions promptly.
Resource & Cost Management
- Support budgeting and cost-control efforts within the assigned operational scope.
- Provide accurate operational data for monthly reporting and assist in variance analysis.
Team Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate a team of operations staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in the training and development of team members; provide feedback and guidance to maintain performance standards.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, customs).
- Promote safety practices and participate in audits and risk assessments.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP/TMS systems is an advantage.
