Job description

The Logistics Specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders in the organization to support customer fulfilment strategy. He/she will also be part of a team to drive best supply chain practices in partnership with different levels of teams at both company and regional levels.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-alert shipment status, discuss, follow up and expedite supply issues to ensure timely arrival of supply.
  • Ensure company business processes comply with all applicable International Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate and track delivery, troubleshooting and communication of delivery status to the team and customers.
  • Perform coordination and close collaboration with central logistics department.
  • Ensure resolution of all problems with orders on a timely basis; maintain appropriate communication for problems/resolutions to Regional Logistics Manager, Customer Service department, and 3PL providers.
  • Ensuring & Safeguarding company business processes are following all applicable International Trade Compliance laws and regulations by providing permitted documents required for realization of import and export deliveries in conformity with the contracts of the division.
  • Oversee warehouse and transportation performance (on‑time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues & Review transportation costs to keep working costs low.
  • Plan and monitor cycle count and stock take.
  • Pre-alert, discuss, follow up and expedite supply issues; to fulfil customer commitment dates.
  • Communicate and work with all levels of business partners in the organization.
  • Manage sales promotion programs to support the business and projects.
  • Ensure sales order management process and warehouse operations process; compliance for the various parameters being setup systemically in the Business System
  • Maintain, review and revise the parameters in Business System regularly to reflect current business needs.
  • Execute trade compliance procedures and policy set by the corporate compliance team.
  • Apply appropriate “Due Diligence” and timely escalation of any perceived or potential issues to the appropriate management.
  • Coordinate and assist with audits to assess the import and export compliance of the company with customers and suppliers.
  • Central contact for timely submission and application of controlled goods shipments report to government agencies, as and when necessary.
  • Ensure Harmonized HS code in logistics and documentation.
  • Ensure that delivery schedules are met.
  • Manage the warehouse and logistics activities.
  • Ensuring timely execution of Waste Management compliance (like E‑Waste, Plastic Waste, Battery Waste, etc.)
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma holders from Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a fast‑paced environment, within SEA.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and strong team player.
  • Good organizational skills with excellent follow‑through with problem solving mindset.
  • Accurate and meticulous with the ability to handle pressure and work well in delivering supply chains solutions under strict deadlines.
  • Good data analysis skills and strong proficiency in MS Office and ERP Warehouse systems.
