About the Role:
The Logistics Solutions Engineer plays a key role in optimizing warehouse and logistics operations through data-driven analysis, system design, and process improvement. This role focuses on improving warehouse layouts, material flow, and inventory control, while supporting the implementation of technology-driven logistics solutions to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze warehouse processes such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Design and optimize warehouse layouts, storage systems, and material flow to maximize space utilization and productivity.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for warehouse activities to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
- Support automation and digitalization initiatives, such as barcode/RFID systems, conveyor systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and operations teams to implement process improvements.
- Assist in planning and setting up new warehouse facilities or reconfiguration projects.
- support implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Work with operations teams to integrate logistics systems with ERP platforms for seamless data flow.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management decision-making.
- Provide technical training and support to warehouse teams on new systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse engineering, logistics optimization, or supply chain operations.
- Based on the requirements, you may need to support during weekends.
